Little Mermaid Baby Shower

Last week I flew from Miami to Canada to visit family and friends and celebrate with them at my baby shower that my mom and her friend put together. It was absolutely wonderful, I couldn't ask for a better shower. I have loved the Little Mermaid since I was a little, so when I found out I was having a girl my mom and I both knew we had to do a Mermaid themed baby shower. I hope you all enjoy the photos!

                         The cake was delicious. I didn't want a fondant or butter cream cake. I wanted a lot of fruit and a light whip cream frosting with nuts on the side. This cake was moist,creamy and sweet and only a little bit was left over! If you are in Kitchener,Ontario you need to check out this bakery she has delicious pastries as well.  These Mermaid Tails were made with melted candy melts. You can find the tutorial Here they were very easy to make, but her's look so much better!

I had photos of my mom at her baby shower when she was pregnant with me. She was so surprised.

I had a "decorate a onesie" station as an activity. Since there were 55 guests it was going to be a little hard to play shower games.

Everyone got very creative

For the favors I had the TheBathFactory make coconut and lemongrass scented bath salts. The whole room smelled like the beach it was the perfect touch! The labels were made by kristinZkreations

My cravings!!!!  For lunch we had a huge pasta buffet with different sauces with shrimp,mushrooms,sausage and chicken. With delicious Cesar salad and freshly baked bread

 It was such a great shower I was so happy to see all my friends and family. Princess got a lot of sweet gifts and I cannot wait to see her wear all her new clothes. We are so blessed to have such sweet friends and family.
